In April Bridges was invited to participate in the Islamic Society of North America’s Annual Government and Interfaith Forum where the Qur’an with References to the Bible was publicly presented and distributed to attendees.
Dr. Frank Kaufmann represented and spoke on behalf of Bridges at the series of events surrounding this important forum. While there he attended a press conference and a reception on Thursday. On Friday he participated in the Sunni-Shia dialogue at the United Methodist building, Friday Prayers in the Congress building, and the closing ISNA annual banquet. The opportunity to present and share with so many leaders was incredible. Thank you for all the prayers that made the result of our efforts greater than could have been expected!
We pause to express true and whole-hearted gratitude and admiration for the President of ISNA, Dr. Sayyid Syeed who was a champion on our behalf and made possible such a high-profile moment for the Qur’an with References to the Bible. Many hearts were touched, and 100 books were snatched up eagerly; even the last one kept for a local friend was taken from our hands.
