“Life” in the Abrahamic Holy Books:

1. Old Testament: The Hebrew root word - chay - used for “save” also means “life” - Reference Semitic root word chay: Strong's H2416 and H2421 - chayah.
2. The Qur’an: The Arabic root word - chay - used for “save” also means “life" - For simplicity and unification, this is a transliterated form of Hayya (حَىَّ)
3. New Testament: The Aramaic root word - chay - used for “save” also means “life" - For simplicity and unification, this is a transliterated form of Khayea 
4. Jews also use a form of this word - L'Chaim - in Hebrew it is a toast meaning "to life"

1. Old Testament (Tawrat): But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save (chay) many people alive. Genesis 50:20
2. The Qur’an: And, if anyone saves a life (chay), it will be as though he had saved (chay) the lives of all human beings. 5:32
3. New Testament (Injil) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I (Jesus) came that they may have life (chay) and have it abundantly. John 10:10
