Lesson 18 – Muhammad - Bridges To Common Ground

Muhammad - Prophet of God

Muhammad is the central figure of Islam and widely regarded as its founder by non-Muslims.

He is known as the "Holy Prophet" to Muslims, almost all of whom consider him to be the last prophet sent by God to mankind to restore Islam (or submission to the God of Abraham).

A Sign From God - Revealed To Muhammad?

The Qur'an - The Word Of God?

"Peace Be Upon Him" - PBUH ?

Why So Much Controversy?

Conclusion

  • 1st
  • 2nd
  • 3rd
  • Regardless of whether you believe Muhammad is a prophet of God or not... billions of Muslims today now worship the God of Abraham because of Muhammad's influence 1400 years ago.
  • There is nothing in the Bible that would suggest that you cannot believe Muhammad to be a prophet of God.
  • All prophets in the Bible and the Qur'an were human and therefore imperfect.
