Participate In God's Dream
EXPERIENCE GOD TOGETHER: Henry Blackaby, in his popular book, Experiencing God, says that God wants us to find out where he is working in the world and join Him in that good work.
- The good news is that God is working everywhere. You just have to know how to see.
As you begin your "peace path" journey, begin by asking God what he is doing and where he is working in the Muslim and Christian community.
- How can you get involved and be a part of what God is already doing in your community?
EXPECT ANSWERS & BE READY TO RESPOND: After you ask God that question in prayer...expect him to answer! The answer might surprise you.
- It often comes in the form of a problem or great need.
- Don’t ask God to show you where he is working unless you are ready and willing to take him up on his offer for you to join.
You Will Need To:

KEEP OPEN EYES & AN OPEN HEART
Look for opportunities to help the Muslim or Christian communities. Look for needs in these communities that people might not be addressing.
- If you see a need and say to yourself, “That is terrible! Some one needs to do something about it.” Then chances are good that God is trying to show you where he is working and he is inviting you into that work.

LOOK FOR OPEN DOORS
Once you have seen where God is working in your community... look for an open door. Don’t over analyze or second guess yourself or the door could close.
Is there are drug or violence problem in your community? Is hunger or literacy an issue? Perhaps the problem might be an environmental concern. It could be racial antagonism or a resentful religious division.
- Ask God if he wants you to do something about it and then invite Muslims and Christians to participate in God’s Dream for healing that problem in your community.
